Hence, in addition to the necessity of the national language, it is not an inevitable condition from which there is no escape. Indeed, it is possible to view the multiplicity of languages and dialects with the eye of richness for a democratic nation. But the nation-state works primarily to force a single language and in a strict, categorical manner, and does not provide a small opportunity for linguistic diversity, especially for the diversity of official languages. Rather, it seeks, in addition to this, to benefit from the privileges of the ruling nation.
