The Leader’s Sayings
* The federal character of the United States of America, on the one hand, and the European Union’s development of itself, on the other hand, based on the return of stolen democratic values and their gradual transfer to civil society, individuals, minorities, and local administrations, are nothing but an indication that it has abandoned the nationalist internationalist theories and tactics that have lasted for three entire centuries.
* Hence, the example of the European Union is a historic step on the path to returning to democracy, albeit within limits. Just as was observed in the example of the nation-state, the possibility of the countries and peoples of the world sharing this model, which is gradually open to democracy, is likely to tip the balance. However, it seems as if radical democracy will grow primarily on other continents of the world. The experience of Latin America, the positions of the old constructed socialist countries, the reality of India, and even the reality of Africa; all of this simplifies to the eye the importance of democratization in an increasing manner day after day, and pushes the wheel of development in this direction.
