Leaders’ Sayings

* The policy of the small nation-state, pursued by England and America as the two dominant powers under the banner of capitalist modernity, influenced all social sciences and scientific socialism.

* KCK expresses the proposal and practice of the democratic nation as a model solution purged of the nation-state. It applies not only to the Kurds, but to all ethnic and national groups concerned with the Kurdish issue. The nation-state solutions imposed during the stages of the unresolved national issue throughout the history of capitalist modernity, as the only path to a solution, have transformed history into a bloodbath.

* Formulating a solution to the Kurdish issue through peaceful and political approaches with the Turkish nation-state first, and with the Iranian, Iraqi, and Syrian nation-states second, and even with the Kurdish federal state as well, is unthinkable unless they recognize the right of the Kurdish people to be a democratic nation (this right also applies to other peoples), and accept the state of semi-democratic independence as a natural outcome of this right.

* In a sense, Kurdistan has already become the epicenter of revolution and counter-revolution in the twenty-first century. It represents the weakest link in capitalist modernity. The Kurdish people’s national and social issues have worsened that they cannot be obliterated by liberal prescriptions or blocked by the demagoguery of individual and cultural rights.

* The KCK solution currently stands at a crossroads. Either the issues are resolved by establishing peace and democratic politics through a “democratic constitution.” In this case, the nation-states concerned will not only abandon their policies of denial and genocide, but will also recognize the realistic definition of the issue, seek a solution based on the “global democratic constitution,” and discuss the content and approach of the democratic constitution with the relevant parties.
