المبادرة السورية لحرية القائد عبدالله اوجلان

The Leader’s Sayings

*The PKK incident not only demonstrated the Kurdish presence on the verge of liquidation and demise, but also created it to a significant extent. Therefore, it did not originally have to be a liberation movement in the classical sense. Neither the state of existence or entity to which it was based, nor the awareness with which it possessed it, allowed it to do so. PKK has found the Kurds on the ground. This is because the Kurdishism of the twentieth century was a Kurdishism that required making it exist before liberating it.

*If something suffers from the issue of existence, what should be done first is to secure its existence, not to liberate it. The situation of the Kurds required giving full priority to highlighting the presence. This is because terms such as liberation, liberty, and equality will only acquire their meaning in relation to existents whose existential issue has been resolved.
