The new “Ocalan Vigil” website will include regular updates, brochures, videos, information about initiatives such as the Nobel letters, ‘Öcalan Book Days’, legal advocacy, materials from international conferences, and much more.
Since Kurdish peoples’ leader Abdullah Öcalan’s February 27th call for ‘Peace and Democratic Society’, there has been a strong positive response on an international level. All over the world, actions were organised, discussions held, texts published, and calls made for the freedom of Öcalan.
In response to Öcalan’s call and the international outpouring of support, the “Ocalan Vigil” team is re-launching their website “to be able to better share resources and information from our campaign and all the amazing work being done around the world.”
The new website will now include regular updates, brochures, videos, information about initiatives such as the Nobel letters, ‘Öcalan Book Days’, legal advocacy, materials from international conferences, and much more.
The “Ocalan Vigil” team warmly invites friends who have translated texts, made their own materials, recorded presentations and actions in relation to the campaign to send them to them, so they can include them on the website. While at the moment the website is only in French and English, it is planned to include Spanish and other languages soon.
