Imralı Delegation meeting with Bahçeli: A common stance is needed
Following a meeting with MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli, the DEM Party Imrali Delegation emphasized the need for “consultation” and “a common stance” during the commission phase.

Following meetings with Justice Minister and Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, members of the Imralı Delegation of the People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Pervin Buldan, Mithat Sancar, and Özgür Erol, met with Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
After the meeting which took place at Parliament, Pervin Buldan made the following statement:
“We have once again heard Mr. Bahçeli’s positive views on the process. We will continue our meetings step by step with Mr. Bahçeli as well as with other opposition parties and members of the People’s Alliance. We need each other during the commission phase. We believe that consultation and a common stance are necessary. We will keep both Mr. Bahçeli and the leaders of other parties informed at every stage. We will provide all necessary support and make every effort to ensure that this process evolves into a peace process as soon as possible.”
