An eulogy on behalf of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan on  passing away of Reyhan Bayik

With hearts filled with sadness and grief, and souls filled with pride and dignity, we, on behalf of the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan, extend our deepest condolences to our comrade, leader, revolutionary, and activist Cemil Bayik on the passing of his mother, Reyhan Bayik, and to his esteemed family, his comrades in the long struggle, and all the people of Kurdistan.

The late Reyhan Bayik was not just an ordinary mother; she represented an entire nation. She gave birth to an uncomprising leader, in whose heart she instilled  love of homeland, freedom, equality, and justice, and established his foothold on the path of resistance.

Mother Reyhan was one of thousands of Kurdish mothers who endured, resisted, and sacrificed their most precious possessions, writing the chapters of the revolution with a steadfast will and unwavering determination.

Mother Reyhan, her pure body has been laid to rest, but her memory will live on forever, as long as freedom remains a dream, struggle a promise, and as long as Comrade Cemil Bayik, his revolutionary comrades, and all our people continue on the path in her footsteps.

 May her soul rest in peace, her memory eternal, and may her children, relatives, and all of us have patience and solace.
