Martyrs’ children: Your gift touches our hearts, Leader

Leader Abdullah Ocalan met with children for the first time in 26 years. On June 7, in celebration of Eid al-Adha, the two young girls Ronahî Ergin and Dilan Arîn Ocalan, along with the Leader’s family, visited Imrali Prison. Through a special message, the Leader sent his greetings to the children and gifted them pens.

Today, children of martyrs in the Tabqa Canton issued a statement, read by young girl Mashael Al-Issa, which said:  “With our childish words, we send our love to the Leader and father who is building us a bright future. Your gift reached us, our Leader, and even if we did not touch it with our hands, our small hearts embraced it with warmth and affection. We will keep our pens as the most precious gift from you, and we promise to continue learning and reading.”

The statement continued: “From you, we learned patience and resistance, and we promise to be the soldiers of the future you envisioned through your thought and philosophy that amazed the world. Thank you for never forgetting us, and for always carrying us in your heart and soul.”

In their statement, the children made an urgent appeal to the children of the world: “In the name of the children of the martyrs in Tabqa, we call on you to stand with us and demand the release of the great Leader, who represents the cornerstone of achieving real peace in the region.”

The statement concluded with the release of white doves as a symbol of peace, while the children raised their banners saying: “We want to meet the leader.
